Today’s the day, people! I’m flying back up to the big apple this afternoon for my 5th consecutive New York fashion week (fingers crossed my flight doesn’t get cancelled due to weather!). I’ll be there until the 13th (8 days!!) and will be going to more shows than I’ve ever gone to thus far. I’m pretty pumped about my schedule and the roster of events, runway shows and presentations I’ll be attending (not so humble brag), but most of all, I’m excited to catch up with some of my favorite bloggers and brands via brunches, drinks and dinner. It’s so much fun to see the fashion industry come together to support these amazing designers, and I’m super grateful to be part of it all! Be sure to follow me on Instagram to get an inside look into all the best runway shows and fashion week events! Can’t wait to share it with all of you! Now onto the outfit…
Don’t you just love a good set of neutrals? J.Crew and Theory are two of my favorite go-to’s for the best basics and foundation pieces in my closet. For example, this new tunic sweater at J.Crew comes in a bunch of great shades and is under $90. It’s lightweight and long, perfect for wearing with white jeans or jean shorts come spring, but a great layering piece for right now! At Theory, this chevron-stitched sweater is a creamy delight that I would just love to add to my wardrobe right this second (and it’s on final sale)! Another piece I am adding to my shopping cart is this silk striped blouse – another practical item for your year-round wardrobe. What are your favorite places to shop for basics?
