There’s nothing like a good basic – a pair of black leather pants, a cream cashmere sweater, the perfect neutral bag. I’m now on the hunt for a basic pair of comfortable flats. The ones I currently own have a little too much flair for everyday wear (e.g. my Charlotte Olympia kitty flats). I need a classic look that will be useful year-round and I’ve set my mind on a pair of Lanvin flats. They’re effortlessly chic and from what I hear, supremely comfortable. I have a few pairs of Chanel flats that I wear all the time, so I know a good pair of flats is worth the investment. This pair is the direction I think I’m going in, but you can’t say no to a good patent pair! Nude and black are both beautiful and will transition the seasons seamlessly, not to mention they are awesome for traveling.
