I’m a fan of the classics, especially when I travel for a long period of time. Some staples I always take on trips include 1) a pair of basic flats, 2) plenty of plain silk blouses, and 3) a great jacket. The flats are good for day-to-night wear and walking around all day. I always bring a variety of silk shirts because with just a switch out of accessories and the addition of a jacket and heels, you can change a casual daytime ensemble into a gorgeous look for a night out. I wore this outfit while we checked out the Musee Jacquemart-Andre and shopping around Paris, but also wore it to dinner and drinks without a second thought. The less I have to pack the better, right?
