One of our favorite days on our second trip to Japan in April 2018 was our day spent in the Kawaguchiko (Fuji Five Lakes) area! We visited a couple of darling villages, temples and viewpoints, all with breathtaking views to capture Mt Fuji in all of its glory. I would only recommend doing this on a clear, sunny day – even on partly cloudy days it can be tough to catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji!
