When I saw this cropped shirt jacket at Sézane a couple weeks ago, I was immediately drawn to the rich color palette and the 70’s vibes it evoked. It definitely isn’t the color scheme I’m normally gravitating towards this time of year, but something about this vintage-inspired jacket had me in a choke hold! It’s very lightweight making it useful to wear buttoned up as a shirt, or wear it open as a jacket over a cami or tee. It’s a pretty piece that will be useful for transitioning the seasons! It looks great with my tan/camel accessories as you can see here, but I’m looking forward to also styling it with chocolate brown pieces at the end of summer and into early fall.

I love the subtle details that make these pieces feel more feminine than other jackets available at the moment. The retro vibes lend a nostalgic air I wasn’t expecting to love! It feels like a piece my grandmother would have owned, and I mean that in a good way – she had impeccable taste. She always loved little jackets like this! I just have a feeling this is going to be a repeat offender in my wardrobe.
