One piece from my Fall 2024 Capsule Wardrobe that I absolutely had to buy was this black “carwash” skirt. It’s such a unique piece that is a surprisingly versatile style! Thanks to the car wash-inspired strips, it acts as both a midi and a mini skirt, making it wearable with all kinds of shoes and boots. It shows off just enough leg, and flows so beautifully as you walk! In addition to sharing how useful and wearable it is in the Fall Capsule, I wanted to highlight a couple of ways I plan to wear it this season. It was fully in stock until I wore it on Instagram last week, so I hope some of you were able to snag it! If you missed your size, I found a splurge-worthy lookalike here. I’ll report back if the one I have gets restocked!
I wore this more dressed down look a couple of Saturdays ago, and loved the casual-chic vibes of pairing such a sleek skirt with comfortable sneakers and a t-shirt. The cropped trench jacket was a great budget buy from Zara, that I think plays nicely with the length of the skirt. It was a comfortable but eye-catching look that I got many a compliment on!
This look I haven’t had a chance to wear out yet, simply because it hasn’t been cold enough… but I cannot wait to wear this blazer and bodysuit combo out to dinner! I think it looks fab with this skirt, but also plan to wear it with black jeans and leather pants when the temps drop further.
