Even though I had a full week in Dallas between the two weeks I was in Austin for my grandmother and my Carmel + West Texas trips, I feel like I haven’t been home in ages! On Sunday I slept in until 10am, which is the latest I’ve slept in months – really, ever since I got my pup. It was glorious! Once I woke up though, I treated Sunday like a Monday and got. to. work. Whenever I’m not able to sit at my desk, I don’t feel like I get as much work done… so the past two weeks, while relaxing, created a to-do list a mile long when I got home! I’m certainly not complaining (so grateful to have work, especially given the economic climate/pandemic!!), I’m just going to be kept very busy throughout the rest of 2020. Aside from the #NSALE, the holiday season is the biggest time of year for my business!

Every year I do holiday gift guides on top of my usual content, which generally start the first week of November and lead up to the week before Christmas. I’ll also be doing another holiday/winter capsule wardrobe this year, which will likely be published the week of Thanksgiving (or the week before!) ahead of all the big sales! Believe it or not, I’ve already received a number of questions about this. Don’t worry, it is coming! Just not until mid-November.

And in addition to work stuff mentioned above, I’ve got a lot happening this and next week both at the old and new house getting things squared away, moved, delivered, installed, etc… like I said, things are hectic! Thank heavens I have Liza to help me!
