It’s been about a month since I last featured Reeses on here, so here you go! She’s gotten SO BIG! I can’t believe how fast she’s growing. She’s been loving doggie day care as much as I have – it’s been great for her to socialize and be around other dogs and humans too! For me though, having a couple days a week where I can work without any interruptions has been a game changer. I’m getting so much more done! I started working on the fall capsule wardrobe this week, and am a full week ahead with posts and newsletters scheduled. It feels good to get back into a groove with work now that Reeses and I have gotten into our groove.

With an end to social distancing nowhere in sight, I decided to pick up a few more loungewear items earlier this month. Tie dye has been a big trend this year, I think mostly due to quarantine! Most of the tie dye pieces I’ve seen feature cotton candy colors like baby blue and pink though, so I waited to jump on the bandwagon until I found colors I really loved. Cue me discovering this mint + white tie dye hoodie and matching shorts earlier this month!

These colors are more me – can you tell? They even match my living and dining room color scheme! In addition to being super soft, this hoodie and short set is actually very lightweight. With the summer temps being between 95-103 on any given day here in north Texas, lightweight fabrics are a must! I’m wearing a small in the sweatshirt and a medium in the shorts, which I must say are the perfect length (I’m 5’9, and don’t love super short shorts). I shared this photo and this photo on Instagram if you want to see a full body shot! Another tie dye set I picked up is this sweatshirt and jogger set. It’s a little more out of my comfort zone, but I actually love it! I especially love the dropped back hem of the sweatshirt for covering my booty. If you don’t wear joggers, just style the sweatshirt over your favorite black activewear pieces – super cute! See me in it here.
