Ever since launching Sussex Style Watch last October (can’t believe it’s almost been a year!!!), I’ve found my style more and more influenced by Meghan Markle. From copying her exact wardrobe (this bag! these shoes!) to recreating her looks using pieces I already own (see here!), clearly I’m inspired by her style! More recently, I was inspired to pull out this old Karen Millen sleeveless trench I’ve had hanging in my closet since my London days in 2015. It’s such a chic layer to throw on over everything from jeans and sweaters to dresses like this one! I could totally see Meghan rocking this dress, by the way. The silhouette and color seem right up her alley!

If you need a refresher, Sussex Style Watch is a fashion blog dedicated to recreating Meghan Markle’s royal style. In addition to linking her exact pieces when she makes a new appearance, I also share dupes and budget-friendly lookalikes so you can recreate her outfits for less. In recent months I also added a new weekly series called Inspired by Meghan! In these posts, I focus on a topic like work style, athleisure, travel style, etc, and share pieces inspired by outfits she’s worn in the past. Last week I shared some incredible work-friendly items, and today I’m sharing cozy fall favorites.

Anyway, I thought it might be nice to show my other site some love over here. Never a bad idea to cross promote, am I right?! While my personal blog will always be my #1, Sussex Style Watch has been so much fun to work on. It’s growing SO quickly and I can’t wait to see where it goes! Now if only I could figure out how to get my personal Instagram account to grow that fast… le sigh.
