I’m so excited to debut this year’s Holiday Party Outfit Guide!! I’ve been creating and shooting these looks over the last three weeks and have been so eager to share it with y’all. This guide has more outfit ideas than any holiday outfit guide I’ve done before, so hopefully you’ll find some looks you love! In addition to linking the exact items I am wearing in each outfit, I have also linked other pieces for more inspiration and budget-friendly alternatives to recreate the looks for less below each look. I hope you all enjoy this year’s Holiday Party Outfit Guide – be sure to bookmark this page on your browser or save a photo to Pinterest so you can refer back to it all holiday season long! You can also look back at this post to see more inspiration from last year’s guide… Enjoy!

I approach my Thanksgiving outfits the same way I approach most of my fall/winter looks: I want the outfit to be comfortable, cozy and feature some festive colors for the occasion! And what’s more fall than these cognac velvet jeans?! They’re a favorite find of mine this season, and you first saw me wear them in New York here. They are a super comfortable fit (high rise, skinny to the ankle) and are surprisingly flattering too. For Thanksgiving Day, I plan to wear them with a cozy sweater (under $50!) and coat in complimentary neutrals. I’m photo-ready in case we end up taking any family pics, but this is totally an outfit I could lounge in all day on the couch after our big lunch (slipping off the boots, of course).

I wore this look to Goop Gift’s preview party at Highland Park Village earlier this week! While I may not have an actual office party to go to, this event was work and holiday related, so I figure this is about as close to an office holiday party as I’ll get this season. This skirt is such a fabulous work to weekend staple, but the jeweled buttons make it ideal for holiday party season! The A-Line cut is super flattering and this skirt fits true to size – I’m wearing a 6 here. I paired it with this sheer top to add some edge and keep the look from getting preppy. I rounded up even more pretty tops and skirts below for your office holiday party below!

Meghan Markle has clearly influenced my wardrobe this season (see more at Sussex Style Watch!), with her multiple green looks she’s worn over the last few months! She also favors a midi dress with a cinched waist, which I also love. While I wouldn’t say the Duchess of Sussex and I have similar body types, we do both have hips and a butt – a lot of the silhouettes she’s worn lately have been right up my alley! This deep forest green shirtdress is such a cute find for work this winter, but would also be great for church + brunch on Sunday. You could also dress this piece up for a cocktail party with some sparkly statement earrings and a fun clutch! The best part about it is the price point. This dress just so happens to be under $120! I’m wearing a size 4 here.

Although this season tends to be the busiest, my friends and I always try to schedule a few get togethers before we each go to our respective homes for the holidays. Whether that’s an impromptu cocktail hour at one of our homes, a fun dinner out or a small gift exchange, it’s almost always something casual that can lead to a night out! With events such as this, I like to wear pieces that are cute and comfortable, but also pieces I can be ready for anything in. This black cape sweater is all of that and more! The silhouette is just beautiful, don’t you think? I paired it with black jeans and statement boots here, but you could easily switch those out for faux leather leggings and pumps for a dressier vibe!

SHOP MY OUTFIT: RED VALENTINO DRESS (NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE, BUT AVAILABLE AT BERGDORF GOODMAN IN NEW YORK!) // BAG // SHOES
I saw this dress at Bergdorf Goodman when I was in New York last month and absolutely had to try it on! I spotted it from a few racks away and the color totally pulled me in. Once I reached it, I discovered the ruffles and was completely sold! This burgundy cocktail dress is THE perfect holiday dress in my opinion. Such a stunning piece for winter weddings, fancy holiday dinners and Christmas Eve. Unfortunately I have not had any lucky with finding it online, but I did round up a bunch of really ravishing red cocktail dresses below for you to recreate the look this holiday season.

I told y’all… I’m on a green streak! I freaking love this coat I picked up last month. It’s the most beautiful shade of green, and is totally going to be my Christmas coat. I love the way it shines when paired with simple black basics, don’t you? As you can probably tell, this particular ensemble is one you could absolutely recreate using items in your own wardrobe. Everything I am wearing is an old favorite, with the exception of the coat! Also, this coat is priced at just under $250, so for such a stylish piece I think that’s a pretty great deal. The fit is perfect and flattering – I’m wearing a 4 and it fits fine with tops and lightweight sweaters, but I’d recommend sizing up if you want to wear it with thicker knits.

SHOP MY OUTFIT: TOP // LEGGINGS // COAT // BAG // PUMPS (OLD – SIMILAR HERE AND HERE)
I initially debated about whether to keep this top… was it too flashy for me? Was I showing too much skin? And then I thought, what the hell. I’ll never be as young again as I am right now, and thanks to BBG I’m feeling pretty confident in this sheer lace top! Plus, it really is the perfect piece for parties when I’m not wanting to wear a dress. While this year I’ll be wearing it as is, I feel like if I decide I want to cover up a bit more in later years I can always have my seamstress line the bottom portion so my stomach is concealed. Either way, I think this top is an absolute showstopper! I LIVE for an illusion neckline, and I feel like the one on this particular blouse is so elegantly done. I’m obsessed with the subtle beaded accents there, as they slightly shimmer when the light hits them. The key to wearing this top without getting the bottom portion lined is to pick a great pair of high-waisted jeans, leggings or a skirt. I’m wearing this pair and they are the ideal height in the waist to make this top even more flattering! If you’re sick of sequin dresses and want to look effortlessly cool this New Year’s Eve, try the statement top + leather pant combo. Such a modern, chic look!
